The site is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA: clear contrast, keyboard operation, visible focus, reduced-motion support, semantic headings and touch targets intended to be at least 44 pixels where practical.
1. Measures built into the site
- High-contrast ink-on-paper and paper-on-ink combinations.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, buttons and links.
- A skip link and logical heading structure.
- Responsive layouts and mobile reading measures.
- Visible labels, errors and status messages for forms.
- Reduced-motion support using your device preference.
- Text alternatives for meaningful non-text content; decorative constellation graphics are ignored by assistive technology.
- Reading progress and adjustable article text size without making either essential to comprehension.
2. Known limits
Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time claim. Third-party checkout, payment, embedded content or future media may have constraints outside TDC’s direct control. Policy language and long-form editorial work may also require continuing plain-language review.
3. Tell us about a barrier
Email info@thedecembercompany.com with the subject “Accessibility Feedback”. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, the device or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format or adjustment that would help. TDC ordinarily acknowledges email within 24 hours.
4. Alternative access
If a public TDC text, form or product detail is not usable in its current format, ask for a reasonable text-based alternative. We will make a good-faith effort to provide the same essential information or another workable route.
